Support The Reston Chorale

The Reston Chorale depends on our many generous supporters to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Ticket sales, grants, dues, and fundraisers only go so far – individual donations truly are essential to the Chorale’s ability to present exceptional and accessible choral music programs here in the Reston community. You can support the Chorale in many ways:

  • Donate online through Network for Good (use the button at the top of this page); options for one-time or monthly gifts. See below for benefits of specific support levels
  • Give at the workplace – Ask if your employer’s workplace giving campaign allows designations to all 501(c)3 nonprofits, or if your employer has a “Dollars for Doers” program to reward employee volunteerism
  • Double your giving at work – ask your employer about matching gift programs. Our tax ID# is 51-0139441
  • Support our fundraisers, including pecan and nut sales in the fall, raffle tickets throughout the season until the final drawing in May, and Gardens of Note tour of Reston gardens on the first Saturday of June
  • Support us through Amazon Smile
  • Consider a legacy gift in your will, IRA, or other financial instrument
  • Donate to The Reston Chorale Fund through the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia
  • Most important - come to our concerts and bring your friends!

Friends (All Other Gifts)

Recurring Donations Simplified

Several long-time supporters have found that monthly donations through the Network for Good or through payroll deductions enable us to support the Chorale more easily than by writing a couple of bigger checks throughout the year. The Donate button on the Chorale's website now offers the option of monthly giving. Whatever and however you choose to give, we are truly thankful!

Planned Giving

The Chorale is establishing a new category of donor support. The Legacy Circle will honor people who have chosen to create a lasting legacy by recognizing The Reston Chorale through a bequest in a will or as a beneficiary on an Individual Retirement Account, a life insurance policy, or other planned giving instrument. The Chorale's tax ID# is 51-0139441. For more information, consult your financial advisor. To be listed in our concert programs as a member of the Legacy Circle, please contact the Chorale's Vice President-Patrons, Kathleen Gohn.

To establish a legacy gift to the Reston Chorale Endowment Fund, please contact the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia at 703-879-7640; see https://tinyurl.com/reston-chorale-fund or see below for more information.

The Reston Chorale Fund

You can help ensure the future of The Reston Chorale through a donation to The Reston Chorale Endowment Fund. Since the creation of this endowment fund in 2002, with the help of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, The Reston Chorale Fund has provided nearly $35,000 in grants to The Reston Chorale to help with program and administrative costs, and to support special projects. The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia can help you to make a donation of cash, stock, bonds, or instruct you on how to provide a legacy to the Fund in a will.

Donate Online

You can make an online donation at the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia website.
