America is celebrating the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, Virginia, its first permanent settlement, with a year of festivities to honor the heritage, spirit, values and traditions of Virginia and the part they played in the formation of the new nation. In honor of this once-in-a-lifetime, historical event The Chorale will premiere a major new choral/orchestral work by internationally renowned composer David Ott. The performance will express life in Virginia through music, narration, accompanying visual displays and thematic tableaux. For the initial performance, The Chorale welcomes the composer, Mr. Ott, as special guest conductor and his orchestra the Philharmonic Orchestra of Northwest Florida.
